Batik is one of the three major handmade printing and dyeing techniques in ancient China, which has been passed down from generation to generation in the Miao village in the mountains of Guizhou. Miao batik was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.This design shows the totem of Miao people: Jiyu bird. It is said that it is the mother god that incubates all things in the world and can bring good luck to people.
